The designing process is done in the computer aided CNC machine based on the dimensional specifications of the linear duct or fittings.
The cutting joints are glued with a special glue.
The edges of the duct are tapped with aluminum duct tape to totally nullify the chances of any linear leak.
The cutting process is done automatically by the machinery based on the design that has been loaded or plotted. This removes the need for marking out, creating templates or using Jack Planes for the cutting process.
The precisely cut panels can now be folded to form the duct and the glued joints enhance the rigidity of the duct.
The final phase is to fit the flanges required for making the duct connections. Any internal support if required for large sized ducts would also be done during this final phase.
